The main board runs Linux along with AR.Drone 2.0 software. The main board includes 1 Gb 200 MHz DDR2 RAM.

It includes a Wi-Fi n chipset from Atheros and an USB Port for direct flashing and future developments.

The main board is equipped with a pressure sensor and includes the vertical on board camera operating at 60FPS.

The pressure sensor and the vertical camera are used in combination with the feedback from the Navigation board to provide absolute stability.

The Parrot software performs:

•Stabilizing and auto piloting of the AR.Drone.

•Video compression and streaming.

•Managing the Wi-Fi communication with the external controllers over its own access point network.

The AR.Drone 2.0 main board software is fully upgradable.
